How it works

What the order form asks for, and why

There are seven required fields and a photo minimum. Everything else is optional and simply leaves that part out of the video.

Start an order

Start to finish

  1. You fill in the order form and upload the photos. It runs in the browser and nothing is charged.
  2. The order is checked as you submit it. If a field is missing or there are too few usable photos, you are told everything that is wrong at once, not one thing per attempt.
  3. We email you an invoice for the package you chose.
  4. You pay, and the turnaround clock starts. Delivery is inside 12 to 24 business hours.
  5. The videos, the thumbnail, the script and the manifest arrive as a download link.

The seven required fields

FieldWhy it is needed
Street addressthe street line, shown in the address overlay
Citythe city, spoken and shown
Statethe state, spoken and shown
List pricethe list price as a number, formatted for the price beat
Bedroomsbedroom count, spoken in the specs beat
Bathroomsbathroom count, spoken in the specs beat
Interior square feetinterior square footage, spoken in the specs beat

These seven are the ones spoken or shown in the video. Without any one of them there is a hole in the edit, so the order stops rather than starts.

Optional, and worth filling in

Photos

At least 8 usable photos. They are used in the order you upload them, so put the exterior shot you want to open on first.

A file counts if it is a JPG, PNG or WebP of at least 4,096 bytes. Anything smaller than that is a preview image rather than a photograph, and it will not hold up at full screen. The form tells you which files did not count and why, before you submit.

A large photo is resized in your browser before it is sent, so a slow connection does not stall the upload. Nothing is cropped and nothing is retouched.

Photo rights are the one thing to check firstA listing photograph is very often licensed to the listing agent for that one listing, for the period it is on the market, and no further. A video is a new work made from those photographs, and posting it to social platforms is a further distribution. By uploading you confirm you hold the rights for that use. We take no copy of a license and we cannot check one for you, which is why it is stated here rather than buried in the terms.

Compliance stays with you

Your MLS rules, your brokerage rules, fair housing law and your state advertising rules all apply to the finished video, and you are the one who knows which of them you are under. An unbranded version is included at no extra charge for any service that requires one.

Because the narration only quotes your own description and the fields you entered, the video makes no claim your listing did not already make. It also inherits any claim your listing did make, so read the script before you post it.
